PEDEC has been successful in obtaining funding for a new project for secondary schools called Race Towards Equality: Educating Global Citizens. Three High Schools in Powys have been chosen to take part in this project and will start the process in September. Watch out for further progress reports.
Did you know that Powys has the largest number of schools in Wales to attain Fair Trade status? Some counties still haven't got any i.e. Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Carmathenshire, Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, Swansea and Torfaen.
